I am always excited for a 20X the points trip, but this week was especially good for 3 reasons:
- My husband wanted 4 cases of energy drinks (that he was paying for)
- My son needed Diapers
- The new coupon policy means that FPC now count towards me earning points!
Needless to say I was looking foreward to this trip. Unfortunately, my local Shoppers Drug Mart did not carry any of the free product’s I was hoping for, but I was still able to get ALOT of good deals today and earned tons of points. In order to provide you fabulous fans with accuracy in my price breakdowns, I actually wrote down the posted store price of every item I purchased at shoppers today (except paper towel and red bull which I forgot). I could not BELIEVE how expensive things are there if you are not being careful!
2X paper towel @ 1.99 = 3.98 (saved @ least 2.00)
Neilson milk 4L @ 4.29 (saved 0.18)
2X vinager @ 0.99 = 1.98 (saved 2.00)
4X campbells soup @ 0.49 = 1.96 (saved 3.20)
Kraft Natural Peanut butter @ 3.99 (saved 4.00)
4X Red bull 4pck @ 6.99 = 27.96 (saved aprox. 16.00) – I was lucky on this one, they had not removed the old sticker price so they gave them to me at last weeks sale cost
2X Vivitas Green Tea antioxidants found on clearance shelf @ 3.00 = 6.00 (saved 37.98 + earned 1000 bonus points )
Tressemme conditioner @ 3.99 – (1.00 coupon from tearpad) = 2.99 (saved 5.00)
Stayfree maxis @ 2.99 – (2.00 coupon from online) = 0.99 (saved 5.00)
Pampers cruisers @ 10.99 – (4.00 coupon from p&g insert) = 6.99 (saved 9.00)
Pampers baby dry @ 10.99 – (1.00 coupon from bounty purchase)= 9.99 (saved 6.00)
Tylonol Ultra headache relief @ 7.49 – (4.00 SDM coupon from livewellsavewell.ca)= 3.49 (saved 4.00)
Garnier Fructise hairspray @ 2.99 – (1.00 coupon from trade) = 1.99 (saved 5.00)
So Nice Organic soy milk @ 3.49 – (1.50 coupon from websaver (i think)) = 1.99 (saved 2.51)
Total Value of products = $180.46
Total Paid = $78.01 (only $33.07 of which comes out of my grocery budget)
Percentage saved = 57%
Total points earned today = 21,000 (worth about $45.00 on bonus redemption day )
