These wipes are inexpensive and a total breeze to make. This recipe comes from the Duggar family (19 Kids and Counting on TLC).
You will need:
- 1 roll of Bounty paper towel
- An electric or a knife capiable of cutting through a paper towel roll
- 2 cups of water
- 1 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol
- 2 tablespoons of baby oil
- 2 empty ice cream tubs with lids OR 2 Ziploc bags

Directions:
- Cut the paper towel roll in half so that you have two rolls the size of a toilet paper roll.
- Place one roll in each of the empty ice cream tubs.
- Mix the water, rubbing alcohol and baby oil together.
- Drizzle 1/2 of the liquid mixture over one roll and the other 1/2 of the mixture over the other roll.
- Cut and “X” in each of the ice cream tub lids and place on top of the ice cream tubs.
- Let the rolls sit for 30 minutes than remove the cardboard tube.
- Feed the paper towel from the inside of the roll through the “X” opening in your lid.
Tips:
- Do not buy no name paper towel. Bounty brand seems to work the best.
- For a more ‘natural’ wipe, leave out the rubbing alcohol and use olive oil instead of baby oil.
