Trading: What is This Worth?

There was a discussion at the Smart Canucks forum about what trades should be worth. This seems to be the general consensus for trading:

Stamps:

  • 5 stamps for $50 worth of random coupons selected by the trader
  • 5 stamps for $20 worth of coupons selected by you
  • 10 stamps for $100 worth of random coupons selected by the trader
  • 10 stamps for $50 worth of coupons selected by you
  • 15-20 stamps for $100 worth of coupons selected by you

Gift Cards (GC):

  • $5 gift card for $50 worth of coupons selected by you
  • $10 gift card for $100 worth of coupons selected by you
  • $5 gift card for $10 worth of free product coupons
  • $3 gift card for $10 worth of high value coupons
  • $5 gift card for 12 iCoke pins (6000)
  • $10 gift card for 1100 Pampers points
  • $15 gift card for 375 Huggies points
  • $25 gift card for 3500 Aeroplan miles
  • $5 gift card for 125 Lunchmate bucks (25 codes)

Free Product Coupons (FPC):

  • **FPC’s are generally traded for other FPC’s
  • $10 worth of free products for $10 worth of free products OR a $5 gift card OR $25 in regular coupons
High Value Coupons (HV):
  • **HV’s are generally traded for other HV coupons
  • $10 worth of high value coupons for $10 worth of high value coupons OR a $3 gift card OR $20 in regular coupons

PIN Codes/Points

  • 12 iCoke pins (6000) for a $5 gift card
  • 1100 Pampers points for a $10 gift card
  • 375 Huggies points for a $15 gift card
  • 3500 Aeroplan miles for a $25 gift card
  • 125 Lunchmate bucks (25 codes) for a $5 gift card
  • Stouffer pins for $2 in regular coupons or equivalent
Canadian Tire Money:
  • $5 Canadian Tire Money for $5 Gift Card OR $50 in coupons

Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM) Points: (7,000 Shoppers Optimum Points = $10)

  • 50-100 Shoppers Optimum Points for $1 in regular coupons (ie. A $1 off Post Honey Bunches of Oats would get you 50-100 Shoppers Drug Mart Points)
  • 200-250 Shoppers Optimum Points for $1 in High Value (HV) Coupons (ie. A $4 off any Advil Cold and Sinus high value coupon would get you 800-1000 Shoppers Drug Mart Points)
  • 200-250 Shoppers Optimum Points for $1 in Free Product Coupons (FPC) (ie. A free product coupon worth $5 would get you 1000-1250 Shoppers Drug Mart Points)
